A local to the Bay Area, Megan’s work as an illustrator and designer has always been heavily influenced by her love for nature and the sciences. She graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany and an emphasis in Mycology.
Megan’s combined interests in the arts and sciences led her to pursue CSU Monterey’s Science Illustration Graduate Program. Prior to her time at Impact, she worked as a freelance illustrator and designer, as well as a botanical advisor for a paper mill specializing in renaissance paper for art restoration projects.
In her down time, Megan enjoys rock climbing at her local gym and hiking around Marin County in search of lichen and moss while consuming copious amounts of espresso drinks.
