TACOMA, WA – Ford Motor Co. beat a $275 million patent infringement suit when a Washington federal jury found that the automaker did not infringe four electric systems patents asserted by Eagle Harbor Holdings, LLC, which was also found liable for misappropriating Ford’s trade secrets.
Partners William Lee, Michael Summersgill, Sarah Beigbeder Petty, Todd C. Zubler and Nina Tallon (Wilmer Hale) represented Ford Motor Co. Thomas S.Y. Lee, Kerry Cashman, Jeff Woodbury, Justin Chauncey and Alison Von Dollen led the Impact Trial team, and worked closely with the legal teams to provide invaluable trial technology and visual communications support throughout the trial.
The case is Eagle Harbor Holdings, LLC et al. v. Ford Motor Co., case number 3:11-cv-05503, in the U.S District Court for the Western District of Washington.
