Originally from Los Angeles, Haixin grew up with an avid curiosity for exploring a wide range of passions and interests. During high school, her involvement with the school newspaper sparked a growing focus on design. She discovered that design could intersect with anything, including science, math, and technology.
Haixin went on to graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in Cognitive Science and Data Science, along with a Certificate in Design Innovation. Before joining Impact, she worked in design, communications, and data at an energy research institute and held multiple roles in marketing, UI/UX, and graphic design across various industries and extracurriculars.
In her free time, Haixin can often be found drawing, reading fantasy novels, playing video and board games, and enjoying the occasional game of basketball.
