Randall Carter is a Trial Technology Consultant for Impact and is based in New York City.

Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Carter was a Senior Litigation Paralegal managing cases for the litigation department of Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. At Paul Weiss, Mr. Carter was responsible for managing trial teams in fraud, pharmaceutical, and patent trials. From these various matters Mr. Carter brings an impressive amount of high-profile trial work experience.

Since joining Impact, Mr. Carter was a trial consultant on behalf of Apple, in Apple Inc., v. Samsung et al., which ended with a $1.05 billion verdict in favor of Apple.  Mr. Carter has been lead consultant on multiple eminent domain matters on behalf of Empire State Development and Atlantic Yards.  He has also served other multinational corporations including Verizon Communications, Inc. and Anadarko.  Recently, Mr. Carter led a pro-bono effort on behalf of a plaintiff’s successful suit against his former employer for sexual harassment.

Mr. Carter is a certified trainer of inData's TrialDirector software and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.

Kerry Cashman is a Senior Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

Ms. Cashman has experience as a lead designer, conceptualizing, designing and producing interactive presentations for various complex litigation matters.  She has worked closely with attorneys to produce illustrative demonstratives and with expert witnesses to prepare for testimony.

Ms. Cashman also has extensive experience with complex intellectual property matters.  She has analyzed numerous patents along side case facts to prepare informational tutorials and demonstratives.  She has worked on various technical patent tutorials for technology and pharmaceutical matters.  She is an expert in illustration and 2D Flash animation.”

Ms. Cashman has served clients throughout the country including Apple, Akamai, Baxter U.S., DEKA Research and Development, Extreme Networks, iHance, Tolmar Inc. and Citigroup.

Recently, Ms. Cashman was a graphics consultant on behalf of Apple in Apple Inc. v. Samsung et al. which ended with a $1.05 billion verdict in favor of Apple.

Prior to joining Impact, Ms. Cashman worked as a Litigation Graphics Consultant focusing on the development of technical tutorials for complex Intellectual Properties matters for CaseSight, Inc. in Boston, MA.  She also worked in educational publishing for both Houghton Mifflin and Prentice Hall for over a decade illustrating textbooks.

Ms. Cashman holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Boston College along with a Graphic Design Certification from Clark University.

John Christopher is a Director at Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

Mr. Christopher is an expert working with trial teams throughout the pre-trial production process, and into the trial support phase.

John’s career highlights include:

A lawsuit filed by an independent record label against a media conglomerate involving claims of fraud, willful copyright infringement, tortious interference with contract and breach of contract. A federal jury returned a verdict that was subsequently listed by The National Law Journal as number 17 on its list of the “Top 100 Verdicts of 2003.” TVT Records v. The Island Def Jam Music Group (S.D.N.Y.).

Allegiance Telecom Liquidating Trust against Carl Icahn’s XO Communications, Inc. in a bench trial in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The dispute arose out of a $600 million telecommunications asset purchase. In re Allegiance Telecom (S.D.N.Y.)

He has also been the lead Trial Consultant on a wide range of matters nationwide including: Macy’s Inc. v. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc, In Re: Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) Products Liability Litigation, In Re: IP, Rezulin Products Liability Litigation, JP Morgan Chase v. Liberty Mutual, et al., and Connecticut House of Representatives v. Gov. John G. Rowland. Mr. Christopher’s years of experience diverse background makes him an essential asset to trial teams.

Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Christopher spent 10 years with DecisionQuest as the Litigation Technology Manager. While at DecisionQuest, he directed trial technology services across the country, working with clients to provide them with seamless support during all phases of their trials.

After starting his career in the music recording industry as an audio engineer, Mr. Christopher has a 10 year background in producing live presentations for Fortune 500 corporations. He was also a staging producer for Morgan Stanley, where he orchestrated investment presentations for IPOs around the world.

Mr. Christopher is a Certified TrialDirector 6 Trainer and experienced with a wide array of the software and hardware used in litigation support technology.

Joel DePalma is the Art Director for Impact and is based in New York City. He is an expert in graphic design, advertising art, and informational design.

Mr. DePalma has over 14 years of experience in litigation graphics, having begun his career at Fish & Neave as a graphic designer working in the litigation support department. He also spent significant time working as a graphic designer at TrialGraphix and A2L. Prior to joining Impact, he was the Senior Graphic Designer and Director of Graphic Services at Infographics, Inc. in New York.

Mr. DePalma has served a number of corporations and individuals including Apple, Anadarko, Oracle, Toshiba, Panasonic, EchoStar, Bank Of New York Mellon, Bayer, Novell, AIG, Citigroup and Bank of America. Mr. DePalma has significant experience leading teams and consulting on many of our high profile matters.

At Impact, Mr. DePalma’s responsibilities range from project management, lead consultant to team mentoring and overseeing the graphics department. His wealth of industry knowledge and experience proves invaluable as he’s able to tackle any problem.

Mr. DePalma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Cum Laude from Seton Hall University.

Jason Dozier is a Senior Trial Technology Consultant with Impact Trial Consulting in New York City.

Mr. Dozier has over a decade of experience consulting on trials, hearings and arbitrations with some of the most accomplished litigators in the United States. His work regularly includes high stakes matters involving intellectual property, commercial, securities, white collar, and major mass tort litigation. A sampling of his past matters includes: the Vioxx Multi-District Litigation, the Fen-Phen Diet Drug Litigation, and Mattel, Inc. v. MGA Entertainment, Inc., and work for companies such as Credit Suisse, Del Monte, Jackson Hewitt, Anheuser Busch, Verizon, Pfizer, Bank of New York, and SanDisk.

Before joining Impact, Mr. Dozier was a Trial Consultant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Prior to Skadden, he was the Director of Trial Technology for FTI Consulting.

Mr. Dozier specializes in assisting in the effective application of clear and persuasive trial communication strategies and techniques in a variety of contexts. Whether it is a presentation before a regulatory body, a mediation or arbitration or before triers of fact in the courtroom, Mr. Dozier assists in devising novel approaches to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively. He works closely with counsel to carefully develop trial themes and witness examinations, conduct venue and jury research, utilize time-tested methods for the collection and organization of evidence, conceive and create compelling demonstrative graphics, effectuate smooth and efficient courtroom operations, and provide fast and comprehensive access to critical information in high-stakes situations.

Mr. Dozier is a Certified Trainer of inData’s TrialDirector software.

Alisa Fujita is a Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact and is based in New York City.

Ms. Fujita specializes in illustration, 3D modeling and animation.

Prior to joining Impact, Ms. Fujita used her diverse skill set designing creative elements, animation and marketing materials for video games, television and various PR clients.  Drawing from these unique experiences and her own expert skill set, Ms. Fujita brings a fresh perspective and a keen creative eye to all of her design work.

Ms. Fujita graduated with a BFA in Animation and Motion Media, Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College.

Annie Hayes is a Senior Litigation Graphics Consultant and is based in our New York City Office.

With an extensive background in litigation graphics and design, Ms. Hayes brings a wealth of experience and insight to our clients and projects. Her work has featured prominently in some of the highest profile cases of the last three decades.

Ms. Hayes has supported numerous cases for the United States Attorney’s including those against the Medellin Drug Cartel, the Gambino Crime Family, Imelda Marcos, Leona Helmsley, and ConEdison. Ms. Hayes also was retained for matters concerning Iran/Contra, the first World Trade Center bombing, and EPA SuperFund sites among many others.

In her work for attorneys at some of the nation’s most respected private firms and non-profit organizations, Ms. Hayes has consulted on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property efforts, white collar criminal matters, False Claims Act litigation and pro bono work.

Prior to joining Impact, Ms. Hayes was founder of Hayes/Kough Graphics where she led visual communications efforts for a broad spectrum of matters.

Ms. Hayes received a B.F.A. from the University of Iowa.

Clinton Lam is a Trial Technology Consultant with Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

Mr. Lam serves various multi-national corporations, governments and individuals on complex litigation matters.  Mr. Lam has in-depth knowledge and experience with technology related to data management, presentation, networking, and business systems.  Mr. Lam is also an expert with enterprise related software applications for large scale litigation matters involving highly technical networking to support a multitude of users.

Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Lam was a Senior Technical Consultant with PerTrac where he lead major technology implementation projects for a multitude of institutional banking clients and Fortune 500 companies, including JP Morgan, Barclays, and Soros Fund Management.

Mr. Lam received his Bachelor of Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a certified Trial Director trainer.

Thomas S.Y. Lee is Managing Director of Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

Mr. Lee has experience as lead consultant on various complex litigation matters, particularly in the area of intellectual property, antitrust, life science and banking. He has advised numerous clients on trial strategy, graphics conceptualization and presentation, as well as various other trial and arbitration related matters.

He has served a number of corporations, governments and individuals including Apple, Anadarko, Oracle, Toshiba, Panasonic, EchoStar, Verizon, HRH Prince Jefri Bolkiah, Brunei Investment Authority, Government of Canada, Bayer, Novell, Autodesk, AIG, Citigroup and Bank of America.

Recently, Mr. Lee was lead trial consultant, on behalf of Apple, in Apple Inc. v. Samsung et al., which resulted in a $1.05 billion jury verdict in favor of Apple. Mr. Lee was also the lead trial consultant on behalf of Verizon in their recent defense against U.S. Bank's claim for over $6 billion over the spinoff of Idearc Inc. Mr. Lee was a member of the Citigroup trial team in Terra Firma Investments v. Citigroup et al. which ended with a favorable defense for Citigroup against a claim for over $8 billion.

Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Lee was a practicing attorney with experience in structured finance, representing Credit Suisse, Manufacturers & Traders Trust, and other institutional banking clients. Mr. Lee was also a paralegal specializing in corporate bankruptcy and restructuring at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP. Mr. Lee was also a professional photographer in the fine art and fashion industries.

Mr. Lee received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Studio Arts from Boston College in 2001 and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University, School of Law – Newark in 2006 where he was Managing Business Editor of the Computer & Technology Law Journal. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bars along with the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York.

Kara Lyon is a Senior Graphics Consultant with Impact and is based in New York City.

With her background and experience as both an attorney and a graphic designer, Ms. Lyon is able to offer our clients a unique perspective not often found in the litigation graphics business. She can draw on her familiarity and understanding of trial procedure as well as other phases of the litigation process, while using her knowledge and skills in visual information design to help best present your case.

Ms. Lyon has over fourteen years of experience in trial consulting. Along with working for Impact, Ms. Lyon is the owner and founder of Accessible Evidence which is a visual communications company that specializes in the design and development of demonstrative evidence for litigation.

Ms. Lyon received her B.S. in visual communication design from The Ohio State University graduating in 1990 cum laude with distinction. She also received her J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School in 1993 and is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Domhnall O'Donnchadha is a Senior Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact and is based in our New York City office. Domhnall is both an expert illustrator and 3D artist specializing in informational design. With a decade of experience, he's mastered the art of telling a story visually while working within rigid deadlines.

Prior to joining Impact, Domhnall worked for 10 years as a Designer and Animator for Fox News Channel where he produced a wide variety of motion graphics for broadcast to an international audience. Working closely with executive producers, Domhnall specialized in the research and execution of information graphics and recreations in a breaking news environment.

Mr. O'Donnchadha received a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute's School of Art and Design.

Brittany Peters is a Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact and is based in New York City.

Ms. Peters' background in both the scientific and legal fields make her uniquely qualified to support Product Liability, Intellectual Property, and Pharmaceutical litigations.

Prior to joining the Impact team, Ms. Peters was an Information Designer with VisuaLex, LLC where she assisted in exhibit design as well as illustrating graphics for medical related cases. Her expertise lies in illustration, animation, and 3d modeling with an emphasis on a strong design perspective.

Ms. Peters received her BFA in Medical Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Mia Pham is a Senior Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact and is based in New York City.

Ms. Pham’s work experience offers a unique perspective and knowhow to balance accuracy with creativity. Ms. Pham’s expertise is not limited to informational design as she has been a brand consultant for various companies.

Prior to joining the Impact team, Ms. Pham was an Illustrator, 2D and 3D animator for a pharmaceutical company where she created many tutorials. She has extensive experience in Flash, Mechanism of Actions (MOA) animations, designing clinical brochures, illustrating magazine covers and diagrammatic art to accompany medical articles.

Ms. Pham received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) for Film, animation, and video. She also studied chemistry at Rutgers University.

Jesse W. Stevenson is a Founding Partner of Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

For over a decade, Mr. Stevenson has been consulting and using his experience and skills in some of the most high profile trials across the United States and abroad. Mr. Stevenson has worked on a wide range of matters including: Internal Investigations, White Collar Crime and Regulatory Defense, Intellectual Property Litigation, International Arbitration, Antitrust and Employment Litigation. With his abundance of experience and his diverse background, Mr. Stevenson is able to offer creative solutions and approaches when consulting with trial teams.

He has served a number of corporations and individuals including Anadarko Petroleum, Apple, ExxonMobil, Citigroup, AIG, Becton Dickinson, Edwards LifeSciences, Schering Plough and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Mr. Stevenson was the lead trial consultant on the Citigroup trial team in Terra Firma Investments v. Citigroup et al. which ended with a favorable defense for Citigroup against a claim for over $8 billion and the lead consultant for Citigroup in Bondi (Parmalat) v. Citigroup against a claim of over $20 billion which ended with a $450 million dollar defense verdict.

Prior to co-founding Impact Trial Consulting, Mr. Stevenson led the Trial Services Consulting Practice of FTI Consulting in New York. He also has led the in-house trial support efforts for the litigation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP in New York. There he played a major part in strategizing the arrangement and production of legal arguments and evidence using many forms of multimedia to present pertinent case material. Mr. Stevenson’s diverse background and experience is a distinct advantage that he offers clients of Impact Trial Consulting.

Mr. Stevenson graduated with a B.A. from Brandeis University and is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants and both the Litigation, and Intellectual Property sections of the American Bar Association. Mr. Stevenson holds SCI Top Secret National Security Clearance, allowing him to work on matters involving the highest levels of top secret classification.

Alison Von Dollen, is a Litigation Graphics Consultant with Impact Trial Consulting and is based in New York City.

Ms. Von Dollen has significant experience working closely with scientific and medical experts to help convey their findings to both Judges and a lay audience.  She is a Board Certified Medical Illustrator trained in both life sciences and visual communication.

Prior to joining Impact, Ms. Von Dollen was a Medical Illustrator for a widely recognized, demonstrative evidence provider specializing in product liability and life sciences matters at trial.

Ms. Von Dollen received her BFA in Medical Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology.  She is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators.

Bill Weir is a Founding Partner of Impact Trial Consulting and is based in Tampa, FL.

Mr. Weir has spent nearly a decade as a trial technology expert for the world's best law firms and the country's leading lawyers. He has provided in-court trial technology expertise for diverse matters throughout the country and across the world. He has hands-on expertise in all aspects of trial technology, including in-court presentation, remote office setup and support, and development of graphics and other demonstrative evidence.

Prior to founding Impact, Mr. Weir was President of his own successful independent trial technology consulting company. He also served as in-house trial technology specialist for the international law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Mr. Weir holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants and is a Certified Instructor for InData Corporation's Trial Director software.
