Brigham and Women’s Hospital v. Perrigo Company

A federal jury in Boston awarded Brigham and Women’s Hospital $10.2 million in damages after deciding Perrigo’s generic version of Pepcid Complete Antacid infringed upon a pharmaceutical patent owned by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Investor Bio-Tech LP. The infringement was deemed willful.
