Victory for Asian American Police Officers in Retaliation Case

NEW YORK, NY – A federal jury determined that certain Asian American Port Authority police officers were the victims of retaliation by their bosses after the police officers’ participation in a previous lawsuit against the Port Authority. The jury found that the officers were denied promotions on July 25, 2008 because of their involvement in the previous court case.

Counsel Karen King (Paul Weiss) represented the plaintiffs at trial, with Impact Trial’s John Christopher providing invaluable trial technology and litigation graphics consulting and support throughout the trial.
