NEW YORK, NY – In a huge win for Zillow, U.S. District Judge Jeannette Vargas in Manhattan said Compass was unlikely to succeed on the merits of its claims, making a preliminary injunction unwarranted. The Antitrust lawsuit centers on Zillow’s ability to enforce its Listing Access Standard policy. Impact congratulates our magnificent clients at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati on securing the injunction following a week-long hearing before Judge Jeannette Vargas in the Southern District of New York.
Congratulations as well to our Impact Trial team members Kara Lyon, Michael Grossklaus, Scott Perloff, Alison Von Dollen, Jennifer Gustavson, Haixin Guo, and Jesse Stevenson, for their time and dedication to supporting this case with both Visual Communications design and Trial Presentation.
The case is Compass Inc. v. Zillow Inc. et al., case number 1:25-cv-05201, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
