Jury Finds Ticketmaster and Live Nation Maintained an Anticompetitive Monopoly

NEW YORK, NY –  After a five-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York before the Honorable Arun Subramanian, the jury found that Live Nation and its subsidiary Ticketmaster illegally maintained monopoly power in the ticketing market through anticompetitive conduct that drove up fees for fans, limited touring options for artists, and pressured venues into exclusive Ticketmaster contracts.
