Jury Rules Medtronic Violated Patent, Awards $392.5 Million

WILMINGTON, DE – In this patent infringement case, a federal jury determined that Medtronics, Inc. willfully infringed on Edwards Lifescience’s trans-catheter heart valve patent and issued a verdict that will cost the medical device maker more than $392 million.
