For over a decade, Jim has overseen 100+ trials and arbitrations on a global scale. As a seasoned Senior Tech Specialist, he is recognized for his even-keeled demeanor and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Jim has always had a deep affinity for computers and all things technical. He enjoys figuring out how things work and deciphering the intricacies of programs and databases. This passion has been advantageous in the courtroom, allowing him to leverage his technical expertise to effectively advocate for his clients.
Jim takes great pride in his courtroom accomplishments. Notably, in the case of In re: Korean Ramen Antitrust Litigation, he was part of the first private class action where price-fixing claims by both direct and indirect purchasers were tried to verdict before a single jury. Additionally, he played a key role in a landmark international arbitration, supporting Bayer AG in upholding the integrity of their disclosures and auction process. The potential damages in question, as reported by Dow Jones, were at $1.75 billion plus accrued interest.
Outside of his professional responsibilities at Impact, Jim enjoys family activities, such as attending his son’s baseball and soccer games. He also loves racing in his e-racing rig and soaking up the sunshine of his home state of Florida.
