From touring with 1980s rock icons to months long trials with Impact, life on the road has been a consistent theme for Mike. Although he gave up backstage years ago, he believes that spending time with artists such as Axl Rose more than prepared him for litigation work.
Mike started with Impact at the beginning as half of the original art department. His wife, Kara Lyon, served as the other half. Together they have headed up graphics on countless high profile cases including the eight month long, $9 billion NJDEP v. Exxon Mobil Corp. matter and the nine month long, $12 billion Bondi v. Citigroup trial. With more than 20 years in the industry, this self-proclaimed workhorse has a tireless drive to produce thoughtful and powerful presentations.
Before joining Impact, Mike was the art director for a major music publication. When Mike’s not at trial, he can be found mingling with members of the East Village music scene or leading his dart team to the NYC championship.
