From the northern Bay Area, Michael is a Visual Designer with a focus on interactive illustrative design. He attended the Art Academy of San Francisco where he learned to blend creative principles with technical skills. He earned his BFA in Illustration and his MFA in Web Design and New Media. While pursuing his degree, he worked as a freelance illustrator and taught graphic design to young adults at a local non-profit youth center.
Michael’s favorite type of designs are bold and unique, but never sacrifice experience and usability for the sake of aesthetics. He believes that there is always something interesting about every new design. In his free time, he enjoys making charcoal portraits, playing competitive MOBAs, and watching B-grade horror movies.
